From humble beginnings as a pop-up in an East London coffee roastery, som saa has been a permanent fixture in a former fabric warehouse near Spitalfields Market since 2016. In 2023, the team expanded with sister restaurant, Kolae. The Thai restaurant and bar uses seasonal British produce and quality Asian ingredients to create flavour-packed regional dishes from across Thailand. The restaurant has a sustainable outlook, using banana pulp paper menus, compostable straws and sticky rice bags.
